Welcome to ME Psychotherapy, a warm and supportive group private practice located on the East Side of Providence. Our competent and caring professionals offer a variety of tools and techniques to safety navigate difficult the life transitions. Our mission is to help you and your loved ones accomplish these goals in a painless, compassionate, and efficient way.

We use a comprehensive treatment model, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) along with motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, brief solution- focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). ME Psychotherapy provides a user-friendly online client portal for scheduling first-time appointments and starting on the road to wellness.

ME Psychotherapy, LLC was founded by Marisa Etting in 2009. The practice has grown over the years and now includes several therapists, who are independent contractors working with the group practice.

Marisa Etting, MA, LCMHC

Marisa has been a Rhode Island resident for over a decade. After working in community mental health for many years providing home-based services for children and families, Marisa opened her private practice in 2009.  Marisa specializes in pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders and supporting new mothers and fathers with adjusting to parenthood.

Sarah Soifert, MA, LMHC

Sarah has been a Rhode Island resident for seven years. Prior to ME Psychotherapy, Sarah worked in community mental health for several years, providing intensive home-based services for children and families. Sarah specializes in working with children with behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and family therapy. Sarah has experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis and play therapy.

Meaghan Sherman, M.Ed, LMHC

Meaghan is a licensed Rhode Island therapist.  She has worked in community mental health and substance abuse programs where she provided psychotherapy for individuals and families and ran therapy groups. Meaghan specializes in pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders and enjoys working with women, new moms, and adolescents experiencing a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, self esteem and personal growth, difficulty with life transitions, stress, new parenting issues, and decision making.

Greg D'Ambra, Marketing & Public Relations Intern

Greg D’Ambra is a long-time Rhode Island Resident with a history of employment in the mental health field as well as managerial experience. Greg has worked in Management and Public Affairs at Citizens Bank, CVS Health, and the local non-profit Tides Family Services. Greg is a certified personal trainer and enjoys working out and learning about supplements that can improve wellbeing.
