Tyler Puryear-Najjar, MPH, MS, LMHC, CCATP

Tyler works with college students and adults. He enjoys working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, addiction, and challenging life transitions. Tyler is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and specializes in LGBTQ+ issues and college student stress. He uses a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach's long with elements of person centered and feminist theories.

Taylor Poirier, MS, LMHC-A

Taylor works with adolescents, college students, and adults. She enjoys working with clients who are struggling with life transition issues, anxiety, depression, and trouble with work/life balance and boundary setting. Taylor has experience working with individuals struggling with low self-esteem, life stressors, interpersonal conflict, and legal issues.

Alexa Resendes, MS, LMHC-A

Alexa works with adolescents, college students, and adults. She enjoys working with individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders that could hinder the transitions from everyday life. Alexa has experience with homebased therapy with teens and families and enjoys using motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Victoria Shaughnessy, MA, LMHC-A

Victoria works with adolescents, college students, and adults. She enjoys helping clients who are navigating transitions, caregiving, chronic illness, relationship issues, anxiety, ADHD, and those who have experienced trauma. She is passionate about holistic well-being and utilizes mindfulness and self care strategies to help clients make lasting positive change.

Laura Vargas, MSW, LICSW

Laura works with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, interpersonal relationship conflicts, self-esteem challenges, behavioral difficulties as well as challenges with adjusting to life transitions. She has experience with co-occurring disorders and particularly enjoys working with college aged students and adults. Laura is fluent in Spanish.

Laura accepts Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Student Resources, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, Cigna, Tricare, and Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (NHP). She is currently undergoing the credentialing process for Aetna and is out-of-network with that insurance plan. She offers a low sliding fee rate of $100 per session for clients who are billing out-of-network.

Alexandra Cardi, MA, LMHC-A

Alexandra works with adolescents, college students, adults, and couples who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, navigating through life transitions, meaning-making, self-esteem issues, grief, and work-life balance challenges. She works to utilize holistic, person-centered, mindfulness-based, trauma-informed approaches with clients, while bringing awareness to the body-mind connection, and somatic experiences.

Kimberly Masterson, MA, LMHC

Kimberly works with children, adolescents, college, students, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, behavioral difficulties, self-esteem issues, and work or school difficulties. Kimberly specializes in working with clients with trauma and PTSD and adults who are on the autism spectrum.

Emily Newberry Sacks, MA, LMHC-A

Emily works with children, adolescents, and young adults. Emily enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, trauma, relational conflicts, behavioral difficulties, self-esteem issues, and stress due to life transitions.

Melissa Beattie, MSW, LCSW

Melissa works with adolescents, college students, and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, anger, and relationship issues. Melissa utilizes a person-centered approach and often incorporates therapeutic strategies of mindfulness, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy when working with clients to enhance their overall well-being.

Colleen Powers, MSW, LCSW

Colleen works with women, mothers, families, and couples who might be having difficulty finding their way through short and long term mental health struggles. Colleen also has experience with post-incarcerated adolescents and adults, who are struggling with reintegration into society and the challenges that come with it. She welcomes work with people who might be struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use and abuse, interpersonal relationship conflicts, self-esteem challenges, and behavioral difficulties.

Jason Etting, MA, LMHC-A

Jason works with adolescents, college students, and adults. He enjoys working with clients struggling with addiction, men’s issues, parenting, anxiety, and food/wellness. Jason is trained in the Adlerian method, and works with clients to identify obstacles and create effective strategies for working towards goals. Adlerians believe that by gaining insight into challenges, people can overcome feelings of inferiority.
