Medication Management Services

 

Riviane Lafleur, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Riviane is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Rhode Island. She has cared for and treated clients with various mental health struggles across different age groups and practice settings, from hospitals to outpatient clinics, and crisis stabilization units. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, and more.

Riviane is always eager to learn more and educate herself about new medications, interventions, and evidence-based practice to improve client quality of care.

Riviane sees clients via Telehealth only.

Riviane accepts Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (NHP), Student Resources, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, Aetna, Medicare, Tricare, and Cigna insurance plans.

Tara Martino, MSN, PMHNP-BC 

Tara is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Rhode Island. Tara has over 10 years of nursing experience, providing care for clients ranging from elementary school to retirement and beyond. She collaborates closely with her clients, their therapists, and their medical care team to ensure that each client is served in a custom-tailored and holistic way. 

Tara provides treatment and support for clients who are navigating the challenges of anxiety, depression, and ADHD in youth and adulthood. She holds a safe and non-judgemental space for her clients. All clients, including those who identify as members of the LGBTQIA++, pagans, polytheists, and persons practicing ethical non-monogamy/alternative relationship structures, are welcome to be their authentic selves in Tara's office.

Tara sees clients in the Providence office and also offers Telehealth sessions.

Tara accepts Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Student Resources, Harvard Pilgrim, Aetna, RI Medicaid and Tufts.

She is currently undergoing insurance credentialing for Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (NHP), Medicare, Tricare, and Cigna. During this time she is considered “out-of-network” (OON) for these plans.

Meagan Cahoon, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Megan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Rhode Island with over ten years of nursing experience in substance use and mental health care. She began her career working in detox and residential treatment and later provided assessment and triage services in walk-in mental health and substance use settings.

Megan takes a holistic, client-centered approach to medication management, integrating evidence-based psychopharmacology with collaborative, individualized care. Megan provides a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, addiction, recovery, and related concerns.

Meagan sees clients in the Narragansett office and also offers Telehealth sessions.

Meagan accepts Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (NHP), Student Resources, Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts.

She is currently undergoing insurance credentialing for Aetna, RI Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, and Cigna. During this time she is considered “out-of-network” (OON) for these plans.

 

Please check the “Our Team” page to confirm that the medication provider you want to work with accepts your insurance plan. As of March 2026, our medication providers are still undergoing credentialing with some insurance companies, so it is important to confirm before scheduling.

To request a medication refill, please reach out to your medication provider by messaging through your Client Portal in SimplePractice or by requesting a refill during their appointment. There is a 24-48 hour refill policy for all medications. If the preferred pharmacy does not have your medication in stock, you should call another pharmacy and request the medication be sent to that location. Once you have confirmed that the new pharmacy has your medication in stock, please reach back out to your medication provider to provide updated pharmacy information (address and zip code).
